Overview:These comprehensive trainings are designed to assist IIHS providers in gaining a full comprehension and understanding of the IIHS service definition and provide additional in-depth trainings that build competency in service delivery beyond the 12 hour curriculum IIHS Service Definition trainingTo appropriately provide this service, companies need more than just service definition training! 

Participants will be provided with:

  • guidance on how to provide services in accordance with the service definition (inclusive of accurate interpretation and application as well as proposed changes),

  • a detailed framework in which services can be provided including service delivery and implementation as well, as outcome measures to ensure program effectiveness (through the service delivery model),

  • troubleshooting tips and strategies for seamless service delivery,

  • knowledge regarding service-specific, appropriate, and effective documentation for IIHS.

Training will be delivered by professionals that:  developed and implemented one of the 1st Intensive In-Home programs in the state following the North Carolina mental health reform, have direct experience providing IIHS, and possess a record of 100% Medicaid audit compliance scoring for Intensive In-Home Services!  Our Intensive In-Home Services trainers are certified in IIHS through the UNC School of Social Work Jordan Institute for Families Behavioral Healthcare Resource Program and the NC Learning Community of the NC Division of MH/DD/SAS as well as the North Carolina Evidence Based Practices Center affiliated with the Duke University Medical Center.
